Clyde is a firearms trainer with over 20 years. experience and has an extensive training background in both law enforcement and personal defense. He has trained law enforcement professionals throughout the world in the use of technology in low-light environments, whether while using firearms or in general-duty applications.

Clyde came to First-Light USA in October 2006 after a decade at Crimson Trace Corporation, where he was part of a team that made the company a leader in the firearm laser sight industry.

DAVE WITTROCK   TRAINING DIRECTOR   ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS   Dave is a 27-year police veteran, holding the rank of Patrol Sergeant upon his retirement in 2004, as well as Special Operations Team Leader and Trainer.He is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Illinois Police Training Institute, specializing in Firearms, Strategy and Tactics, Use of Force and Train the Trainer. He is a certified Master Instructor in firearms, military firearms and arrest & control tactics. He also heads the Military Sealift Command’s Small Arms Program at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies in Linthicum Heights, Maryland.

TOM KILHOFFER   STAFF TRAINER   RANTOUL, ILLINOIS

Tom spent 25 years with the Illinois State Police, retiring with the rank of Special Agent - Lieutenant and having served as a Trooper, Criminal Investigator and Firearms Instructor. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois.

One of the top law enforcement marksmen in the world, Tom has held a number of regional, national and international shooting titles. Those honors include multiple American Handgunner World Shoot-Off championships, several International Revolver Championships and many more. He is a member of the American Pistolsmiths Guild and has also been honored by American Handgunner magazine as one of their Top 100 Pistolsmiths. Tom is also the owner and operator of TK Custom (www.moonclips.com).

Cutting Edge Training, LLC, is led by Director of Training George T. Williams, who has nearly three decades of experience in training police (patrol, SWAT, K-9, academy) and military personnel nationally and internationally. George is joined by Master Trainer Thomas Benge, a retired police sergeant with extensive operational and training expertise that includes training in all police/SWAT skill and tactical response domains ranging from academy through national levels. Their team provides  revolutionary skills and tactical training, policy development, liability prevention and risk management training and consulting, as well as expert witness services, and 175+ published articles. They certify instructors in defensive tactics, impact weapons, duty knife (police), Knife Combatives (military), and tactical firearms.

Khyber Interactive Associates is led by Wes Doss, who serves as President and General Operating Manager. His experience includes over two decades of U.S. Army service and 13 years as a civilian police officer. An internationally known trainer and innovator, Wes delivers a unique perspective of operational experience and instructional expertise in his tactical training courses to law enforcement and the military.  Doss is also a highly sought contributor to a number of military and law enforcement publications, as well as the author of two books that are highly respected in the tactical community.
